Dr. Anisah Prueitt Shahidzadeh, is a native Texan with over 19 years of experience in medical therapeutic optometry. “Dr. S.”, as her patients and staff like to call her, obtained her Bachelors in Science with Honors at the University of Puerto Rico, where she grew up, and proceeded to obtain her Doctorate in Optometry at the University of Houston where she graduated in 2004. Dr. Shahidzadeh is dedicated to practicing optometry to the highest level of professionalism and scope of practice.

More About Dr. S
Dr. Shahidzadeh has a passion for therapies that help in Dry Eye and Meibomian Gland dysfunction. She spends her time to tailor specific IPL therapies to help manage her patients chronic Dry Eye and rosacea conditions. Dr. S also practices the exciting field of aesthetics in optometry. She enjoys helping her patients use noninvasive techniques to help promote a healthier tear film, decreased gland inflammation and overall improved skin texture and appearance, using the FDA approved Lumenis Optilight IPL system at EyeQ Vision.
Dr. Shahidzadeh enjoys fitting specialty and complex contact lenses for both adults and children. Dr.S. is a certified Mi Sight provider and enjoys working with children and their families to manage and help slow the progression of myopia using the latest soft contact lenses available and studied. Dr. Shahidzadeh is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Dr. Anisah Shahidzadeh married her college sweetheart, Dr. Rassa Shahidzadeh in 1998. They have been married for over 24 years and have two beautiful children. Being a great doctor, mother and wife are all primary goals of Dr. S.
